High salaries, high revenue over expense margins (can you say profits) all add up to motivation to make money rather than provide for the communities health care needs. Minnesota has long hidden behind the fallacy of non-profit insurance carriers handling the public programs. Now we see the fallacy involved in non-profit provider organizations. I like the idea of non-profit. But, it sure would be better if they actually were required to act like a non-profit community organization.
