Insurance companies DO NOT provide health care.  Actually, their profit motive forces them to withhold health care.  The main problem with Medicare and Medicaid today is how much the insurance companies are intimately involved and are sucking so much of our money into their high exec salaries and corporate profit dividends.  Those companies have no right and no value to be between me and my doctor.
